I come here to study, It is quiet not so busy and very clean they have great events for the members monthly.

The room is kept at a perfect temperature; not too cold and not too warm.

I used the computer for free and I didn't have to pay a fee. Thank you Maitland Library.

Wifi does not require membership/card/login and is quite fast.

Unlike WPPL's reciprocal card, you can use the computers and check out digital items from Overdrive. There's only about 6 computers in the main room and they're usually all taken up in the morning and afternoons, so keep that in mind if you need computer access. The only thing you can't do here with a reciprocal card is put holds on items. That's only for full card holders. Other than that, you have close to full access.

Perfect place to study. Highly recommended!

Love this Library! Has a beautiful and quite patio where u can work or just relax and make telephone calls..employees are so helpful and kind ;)

All in all, my favorite library to study at and great friendly staff.

The parking lot at the actual library only has about 6 slots, but across the street within walking distance is another 20ish spots. If that's full just go down the road a little further and you'll see more parking to the right at Quinn Park.

There's a sign at the front stating no food or drinks but bottled is fine (I asked). There's also two tables with umbrellas out near the bookstore if you want to enjoy the warm weather outside.

I study between the Orange County libraries (OCLS), Winter Park Public library (WPPL) and this Maitland library (MPL). If you really need to cram or just want a quiet place to study, I rank this at the top because of their plethora of study desks and quiet atmosphere.

Also, I'm a resident of Orange County and was able to pick up a reciprocal library card from both Maitland Public Library and Winter Park Public Library. You will need to have an existing OC library card and driver's license to get them but definitely beneficial.

Excellent library if you need a quiet and spacious place to study. The Elizabeth Wood Reading Room has more than a dozen study desks, each with their own individual lamp and outlets. Several sofa chairs are available in the center of the room as well.

I will point out that sometimes there are a few shady characters in the study area that make a bit of noise so don't forget to bring headphones or ear plugs.
