I did love the professors. That's this school's saving grace.
Everglades University refused me as a student.I was super excited to join this University, however they rejected my highschool diploma from the private highschool I graduated from. I explained I didn't understand what the problem was, because I attended a State College with their same accreditation, with the same dipolma. Their response was "our school just doesn't accept it, call the director and see if she will waive your application". Apparently my diploma wasn't good enough for them and they couldn't give me a legitimate reason as to why. Needless to say, I now attend a very well known college that didn't give me this issue and I've been able to pursue my dream in integrative medicine thanks to them, not Everglades.
DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL! Especially not the Maitland location. I stopped attending their school and about 6 months later I received a refund check from them. Then about a month later I received another refund check from them. Awesome right? No, it's been about a little over a year since I've attended their school and they are blowing me up and refusing to release my transcripts, because somehow I owe them 2k. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I cannot move forward with my master's now, because of their mishandling of their own funds. If I owed you money then you should not have cut me a refund check. PERIOD. Also, after I left before the checks came through they call, text, email, and mail you things to the point of harassment. It's insane. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION. If you hate someone enough to do something petty then give the school their information.
It's a great school! Other than quality instructors their ability to work with you around your busy schedule is outstanding! I'm a former Business Student
